A comprehensive acne treatment is now available, most insurance assignments are accepted.
A specialized protocol for acne treatment is used.
A multi-modality treatment approach makes for the success of the treatment.
The treatment protocol is individualized to suite the needs of the patient.
Several modalities available are; laser treatment, chemical exfoliation, microdermabrasion, cryotherapy, acne micro surgery, and medications e.g. antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medications, intra-lesion injections, incision and drainage of lesions, oxygen and steam facials and defoliants.
These treatments are used individually or in combenation to achieve the best possible results.
We are accepting children and adults.
Several medical spa services are available, including Botox, chemical peels, laser hair removal, laser wrinkle and skin tightening, and laser spider vein treatment.

Get a seasonal flu shot. The serum is available now; call your primary care doctor to inquire about getting it.
Also, discuss with your primary care doctor about when the H1N1 flu vaccine will become available and if you are a candidate.
Get both vaccines: the seasonal flu and H1N1 when it becomes available.
Children, people with underlying illness, health-care workers and pregnant women should all get flu shots.
Elderly and compromised patients may need a pneumonia shot as well.
If you think you have the flu, do not go to the emergency room. Call your primary care doctor, especially if you are running a high fever of 102 degrees or higher.
If you do have the flu, there are flu medications that a primary care doctor can prescribe.
Practice good hygiene. Wash hands frequently.

HERIDITARY ANGIO-EDEMA RESEARCH SITE APPROVED

The Medical Clinic and Research Center - site has been approved to conduct a new drug study in the treatment of this very rare disorder of Heriditary Angio-edema.
The study will look at the efficacy of a new medication to treat acute attacks as and when they happen.
This will be a double blind - placebo controlled trial.
The study is due to start later this year, after the IRB approval is obtained.

Perspective:
Initially "DVS" participated in various health fairs, contracted laboratory testing for local nursing homes, direct to public tests; including electrocardiograms, pulmonary function tests, carotid and aortic ultrasounds, immunizations, and charitable healthcare in association with the Helping Hands Clinic of Sanford, NC.

DVS was converted to, Doctors Vital Care And Screening, PLLCor "DVCS" in 2007, a full service medical facility, providing family medicine care along with occupational medicine, drug testing, and normal health physicals.

Present and Future:
DVCS continues to provide quality health care and is comitted to the vision of overall wellness.

The focus of occupational medicine and providing preventive health care has been enhanced and DVCS will be expanding to add comprehensive health care services. In collaboration with Ajay K. Ajmani, MD PA (the main clinic), the FRESH Care, Inc. (a charitable organization) and the local hospital.

Provision of complete wellness is the vision.
